I'm not sure what brought this up, considering the only 'slashy' things I've done lately have either been in memes (as you're suggesting with your musebox comment, I presume) or jokingly in an ooc comm. Honestly, I haven't even been that active in my one game for Beta Dave due to IRL stuff and school (something I'm trying to fix). In fact, I've been tagging more with my game's Rose, than anyone, and if the crit I haven't taken that you're referring to was said on any anonymous comm, I don't visit any. However, I have always taken to heart the advice given to me on my HMD, whether or not I agreed with it, because someone was kind enough to take time out of their day to offer me a helping hand in lieu of my characterization.
Moving on, being frank and upright, I'm really not in the mood for this kind of anonymous vagueness that is in no way constructive and the tone it takes is less, 'Here is what I think you could improve on with Dave' than 'I'mma make generalized statement about things I don't like then tell you to take it to a musebox.' When it boils down to 'if you like this character in a homosexual relationship, you suck,' I don't believe we'll ever be on the same page. My apologies for that. Let us part in peace, etc.
Unscreening my response because this is how I feel on the subject of a lack of constructiveness to criticism, and I don't think that's about to change anytime soon. I'm also going to freeze this thread because it isn't something I'm willing to argue. Sorry for that, too, if it makes you think I'm not listening. I am listening, I'm simply not agreeing. They aren't the same thing, unfortunately.
If at a later date you would like to discuss things you find problematic like mature adults, that'd be awesome. I've had those conversations before and have found them borderline obscenely beneficial. But your comment is not what an HMD is for, and I think we're both mature enough to know that.
(frozen) no subject
